David Nehme changed things back in 1996 when he created
Pavarazzi Gourmet Pizza.

David realized that by combining some of Italy's old authentic recipes with the finest quality sauces, pizza crusts, meats, spices, vegetables and cheeses; pizza would become a delectable meal. This is when he opened Pavarazzi Gourmet Pizza. Pavarazzi Gourmet Pizza has become one of the most celebrated pizzerias in Ottawa.

Pavarazzi Gourmet Pizza seperates itself from most other takeout pizzerias because it's made from fresh, imaginative toppings and choice of handmade pizza crusts. You can create your own pizza and choose from premium cheeses,fresh vegetables, pestos and even seafood. You can also tempt your palate with one of the many house pizzas on the menu such as the "Grilled Chicken, Greek or Classic Combo". Pizzas are served on traditional white or Heavenly Herb crust and you can choose from regular or thin.

If you're not craving pizza, try a Panzerotti-Made with a tasty seasoned crust, a folded over pizza prepared in the Neopolitan tradition.Choose from vegetarian or meat selections and make it a platter served with fries or salad.

From Pasta To Dessert

Pizza isn't the only thing you can get at Pavarazzi Gourmet Pizza. Pasta is available in a variety of noodle shapes, and you can get it with meat, marinara, pesto or alfredo sauce. You can also order side or dinner-size servings of Garden, Caesar, Greek or Spinach salad, and you can top it with grilled chicken or shrimp and scallops. If you're looking for another tasty alternative, a Pavarazzi Gourmet Pizza baguette sandwich might satisfy you. Da God Father has genoa salami, mortadella and capicolla ham, Don Giovanni has roast beef or try a Veggies From Heaven. At the end of the meal treat yourself to a portion of house cheesecake, cake or Tiramisu.

Over the years, the menu has gradually expanded to include 4 salads, 9 gourmet panzerottis, 14 types of pasta and 11 selected side orders to satisfy almost any appetite.

Today, the Pavarazzi Gourmet Pizza concept is producing award-winning pizza. It has been voted best pizza in Ottawa's annual Pizza Pig out sponsored by the Ottawa Sun in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and again in 2005.
